So many times in life we are prone to act just like we feel, and speak what we want, especially when we think no one sees us or hears us!
These skits will cause you to take a real, good look at yourself, sounds familiar huh? As Christians we’re quick to say, “God Bless You”, when we really want to say, “They get on my last nerve” or “I’ll be praying for you”. However, your heart is saying, “please Lord don’t let them call me again”. We are good at saying words out of our mouths while thinking something totally different!
Well God does have a sense of humor, He probably laughs every time we think we know what we’re doing, (Proverbs 16:9) AMP Battle of the Spouses will have you laughing, Who Are You? May leave you wandering while An Unexpected Visitation will cause you to treat others a lot nicer! Just imagine…fitting perfectly in one of these five plays, if not all of them!
Enjoy and remember…Christians Are People Too, Aren’t we? Amen?
Life takes us all on a journey. In order to reach our Godly assigned destinations we may experience; layovers, detours or even a delay. This does alter the journey but the destination remains the same! We usually respond with the; oh no! What? Why? Really? Or the most common reaction; shaking our heads and throwing up our hands, I can’t believe this! Leaving us feeling disappointed, upset and even angry. Regardless of the temporary setback, we can focus on our destination knowing that we will get there! And hear those words, you have arrived! This book shares some of my life’s journey to get where I am now, in the Father’s perfect will. Growing right where He planted me and doing exactly what He wanted me to do all along, simply trust and obey! Prepare for your journey, the destination is worth it!
Glenda M.: I’ve known Venasta, aka ‘ Vee’ for many years! She’s always been an encourager and Warrior in/ of The Faith!! I’ve gotten to know her even more personally in reading ‘ Snatched Out Thrown In!” Her experiences and detailed challenges has given me strength knowing that God was on her side in every detail of her and her brother’s young lives!! Being abandoned, yet being strong and courageous from childhood on was and is an inner gift that she displayed so vividly in the book!! Her choice to trust God determined her destiny of where she is in life now, magnifying Him and being used in her calling, beyond the circumstances she faced!!! My heart was moved at the things she went through; yet, I was encouraged to read how she bounced back from each adversity, through God’s strength! Thank you, ‘ Vee’ for sharing the personal challenges you overcame to myself and others, letting us know, we too, shall overcome!!! I Remember you always saying, ‘ Give yourself a hug!’ Do just that for writing your victory story, ‘ Snatched Out! Thrown in!
Leontyne M. The two things that stood out to me while reading this book were: Beauty from ashes and Hope. Venasta experienced a lot of hard knocks but did not portray herself as a victim. Everything pointed towards Hope. Excellent book for young girls/women who may have lost their way. It lets them know that they don't have to let life's hard knocks keep them down. They can and should get up because the end of their story can be so much better than the beginning.
